Career coaching
We provide the opportunity for employees of Samarkand’s member companies to get support from a career coach. It is a valuable resource for employees who need help to develop in working life, find new paths or strengthen their career opportunities.
We offer
- Individual mapping: A thorough review of the employee’s current situation and future goals.
- Guidance: Support and advice for exploring career opportunities and finding ways forward.
- CV: Professional help in creating or improving resumes.
- Support Resource: Link and support between HR and occupational health care.
The first five meetings are completely free of charge for Samarkand’s member companies. If there is a need for additional support after these meetings, an evaluation is made to decide whether the coaching should continue or whether other solutions may be more appropriate.
Who can apply?
You who have an employee in your company or organization who you think may be helped by this support. If you yourself feel that you are eligible for this service, contact your company management, who in turn decides and applies for this position for you.

About our coach
Jeanet van Dam has solid experience as a certified work life-oriented rehabilitation coordinator, certified business advisor, work environment coordinator and coach. Among other things, she has supported and coached both employers (HR department) and employees in sick leave processes, restructuring, SIP meetings and return to work.
Jeanet has been self-employed for 17 years. Before that, she was vice president of an organization that grew through a merger from 45 to 145 employees. During these years, she has guided and coached management and employees throughout the entire change process.
