If you are attending upper secondary school or a folk high school, you can find a counselor through your school. You can also contact counselors at a university or college. You do not need to be enrolled at the university to speak with their counselors, and it is free to book a session with a study counselor.

Högskolecentrum sometimes hosts information sessions about on-campus and distance studies, as well as opportunities for relevant jobs in the region. These sessions can include, for example, a representative from Högskolan Dalarna presenting different study programs and representatives from local businesses talking about professions and local job opportunities.
