Mentoring program
A mentor is someone to play with and someone with their experience gives you new insights and knowledge. You can also apply to be a mentor. We believe that you will learn at least as much as your mentoring mentorship and that it will be a skill development for both of you in your professional roles.
What does the program offer
- Networks, contact areas & Important relationships
- Increased understanding of one’s profession
- Practical tips and game rules
- .. and leadership training through the role of mentor
For whom?
The own purpose of having or being a mentor is personal and each organization decides for themselves who can be part of the program, but generally this time we turn to leaders with or without personnel responsibility. Samarkand’s purpose with the mentoring program is to develop our leaders together in the employer network.
As a mentee, are you perhaps new to your workplace, have a new assignment, are new to your role as a leader or simply need to brainstorm ideas?
As a mentor, you have an interest in sharing experience, contacts, networks and information that the mentee can benefit from.
Process
Each organization decides for itself whether and, if so, how many adepts & Mentors you want to participate with. Samarkand supports throughout the entire process and we are happy to visit you and tell you more. The application period is open until September 9. Then the matching process begins. We will be able to handle any changes during the journey. It should feel right for both parties.
You decide the mentoring time yourself. The recommendation is one hour per month during the course of the program.
A mentoring relationship is based on a mutual trust between mentor and mentee with the aim of developing a specific characteristic or knowledge that can be valuable in the persons’ professional and personal development.
