Do you want to make a difference in children’s lives and be involved in shaping the future?
Through Samarkand’s University Center in Ludvika, you can study the preschool teacher program remotely via Karlstad University – an education that combines theory and practice, close to home but with the entire professional life in front of you.
The education gives you deep knowledge of children’s development, play and learning. You also gain practical experience through internships in preschool. The program is 210 credits and extends over three and a half years of full-time studies. The start of the course is the spring semester 2026.
As a distance student at the University Center in Ludvika (campus learning center), you participate in teaching on site several days a week and travel to Karlstad University 2–5 times per semester. You do your internship, which goes by the name Business-based education (VFU) in Ludvika municipality.
